Our trip to northern California ended up with both my husband and I coming home with Covid. I was unable to take the full treatment of Paxlovid which made the disease entrench more fully into my system. Every day I have a bit more energy and less congestion. I am thankful! I finally had the energy to look at some of the pictures I had taken on our trip.

Daisies and self-sown California poppies in the garden. I love that these poppies decided to establish themselves in my back garden. I lived in California for most of my life so these little beauties bring me joy. Welcome summer!

A painterly look at a few fun birthday additions to the garden. The fairy sculpture, a reading cherub (seated on the pond ledge) and a little bird on the table have joined our garden. The fairy will move to another location once the rains have tapered off. The daffodils have been bringing color and joy for a few weeks now and the tulips are starting to open. Love spring bulbs! The sculpture and cement pieces were found at the Little Red Farm in Springfield, OR. A delightful nursery!
