I love how an artist can be inspired by so many different things. This piece was inspired by a Lynne Perella spread in the May/June Somerset Studio magazine. I created texture shapes and added elements and backgrounds from ItKuPilli (Mischief Circus); and Teddi Rutschman (Foxeysquirrel). Titled, “Visionary.”
No text to this piece. It morphed into playing with backgrounds and elements from a variety of digital kits; from ItKuPilli and E-scape and Scrap. Inspired by a piece in the book, “The Collage Ideas Book.”
Inspired by Lesson 3 from A Veil of Wax class taught by Ivette Newport. The wax is till a bit cloudy in this photo but couldn’t wait to share her. I drew and painted her on a piece of watercolor board. I used Daniel Smith watercolor paints, charcoal pencil, colored pencil, white water-soluble oil paint, and encaustic wax; plus a little bling! I love this piece!
I thought this was powerful from Ann Voskamp’s book, The Broken Way.
Loved creating this piece for a “Color Me Happy” Let’s Face It lesson. I used a Pinterest image for my inspiration. I am also “Colored Happy” because we passed the final city inspection for my studio addition today. Happy dance!
