I love how an artist can be inspired by so many different things. This piece was inspired by a Lynne Perella spread in the May/June Somerset Studio magazine. I created texture shapes and added elements and backgrounds from ItKuPilli (Mischief Circus); and Teddi Rutschman (Foxeysquirrel). Titled, “Visionary.”
No text to this piece. It morphed into playing with backgrounds and elements from a variety of digital kits; from ItKuPilli and E-scape and Scrap. Inspired by a piece in the book, “The Collage Ideas Book.”
Read this poem on the Daily Streams App and decided to share it in a Daily Graces piece. Backgrounds and elements from ItKuPilli at Mischief Circus.
An eventful week welcoming our first grandchild Gwendolynn May into the world. She sleeps so peacefully this verse seems apt.
Decided to use a Corrie ten Boom quote today. If you have never heard of Corrie, she was imprisoned in a concentration camp along with her family during WW2. As a Christian she and her family felt they needed to harbor Jewish people in their home in Haarlem. Read “The Hiding Place” to find out her story.
