The photo is a snippet of my backyard garden at its height this summer. Being able to have a lush garden once again has been one of the joys of living in Oregon.

Brought in the first of the sweet peas. Gardener’s World (BBC) recommends cutting for continued bloom so I happily brought these in and added them to a couple of dahlias that were already in the house. Wish you could smell the fragrance through the screen!
