Today’s piece features a portion of an Unsplash image of the English countryside. I wanted to try to create a piece that looked like a cover from a Batsford guide. Batsford guides were made in the 1930s and are featured on Penelope Keith’s Hidden Villages show which can be seen on Amazon Prime. The shows were made from 2014-2017 or so. My paternal ancestors came from England and I have always loved seeing shows about the English countryside.
