A lovely part of one of the gardens toured yesterday during Music in the Garden; a benefit for the Eugene Symphony.

As I sat at my computer contemplating which garden image to use for today’s Daily Graces I saw a woman walking in front of the house who stopped and took several photos of my front garden. That makes me happy if someone finds beauty as they walk by.
The image in the above photo is from the backyard. It’s June and the roses are just bursting forth into bloom!

Inspired by a Kelly Hoernig class, Finding Beauty in the Everyday, I try to take photos each day either in my yard or on our walk. Today we walked to a sweet little wilderness park near our neighborhood where I found some beauty to photograph.

A painterly look at a few fun birthday additions to the garden. The fairy sculpture, a reading cherub (seated on the pond ledge) and a little bird on the table have joined our garden. The fairy will move to another location once the rains have tapered off. The daffodils have been bringing color and joy for a few weeks now and the tulips are starting to open. Love spring bulbs! The sculpture and cement pieces were found at the Little Red Farm in Springfield, OR. A delightful nursery!
