When it is very cold (20 degrees) and a few snow flurries, it is a good time to play with color in the studio. Loosely inspired by the Emma Pettit activity for the Lifebook Wellness and Creativity Summit.

I love how an artist can be inspired by so many different things. This piece was inspired by a Lynne Perella spread in the May/June Somerset Studio magazine. I created texture shapes and added elements and backgrounds from ItKuPilli (Mischief Circus); and Teddi Rutschman (Foxeysquirrel). Titled, “Visionary.”
