There’s nothing quite like starting a new class with Kim! This piece was created for our Day 1 project; my peonies have long since finished blooming, but the second flush of the roses is out! I don’t usually set up the shot, but the afternoon light was good in my art/photo studio, so decided to pull the pitcher of roses from the living room and take some shots. The lace underneath is on a pillowcase that once belonged to my husband’s grandparents. The lace is all done by hand. One of my collection loves is old handmade lace. The exquisite detail is unmatched by any machine.
