I began this piece with a hand painted collage which led to some serious thinking on how so many children in today’s world have to grow up so quickly, thus losing their childhood so to speak. I love how during the creative process what starts out as a lighthearted piece can become fraught with hidden meaning.
Created a hand painted collage for lesson 39 in Lifebook 2015 and then brought it into Photoshop and tweaked it a bit and added a stroke and a border. Double the fun!
Tulip tree bloom from springtime; lots of textures, filters and elements added plus a quote by Paul A M Dirac.
I don’t remember where I got the original image for this piece but love how the painterly filters brought it to life. An Oscar Wilde quote.
Loved this shot of a young child in a canoe with their father on Labor Day at Bodega Bay; the couple in the kayak added some great color to the piece!
