I painted my rendition of Mary Turner Austin after master John Singer Sargent’s portrait. I decided to bring her into Photoshop to liven her up a bit. This was a fun way to change up a painting; twice the fun!
I submitted one of my digital pieces and was published in the latest issue of the AWAKE magazine!
Loving Jeanne Griffin Oliver’s Studying Under the Masters Series of classes. Marie Laurencin was presented by Ivy Newport and these two images are two of my Marie practice pieces. Valentine was painted using water soluble oils, and the Spanish duo was painted in open acrylics with Stabilo. I have always admired Marie’s work so was well pleased to practice her style in this course.
Used the same sunset photo as a previous post but added an Unsplash image and lots of textures and elements from the AWAKE class content.
I saw this photo on Unsplash and it brought to mind how God waits for a busy world to acknowledge or even notice Him. So I created a montage using lots of textures and wings and some text.
A digital composition using elements from itKuPilli and other sources.
